Avery goes to the doctor's office again

We decided to take Avery to see the doctor again on Wednesday because she was having some dry raised patches on her knees and thighs and backs of her arms, weird how they were symmetrical. Plus she had reaally dry skin on her face, i'd put lotion on it and within an hour her face would be dry again. Doc says the dry patches are excema, asked me if dry patchy skin runs in our family and I thought of Cindy. Avery can blame her Auntie Cindy for that when she grows up.
She weighed in at 12 pounds and 13 ounces at 11 weeks 3 days, which means she gained 12 ounces in 2.5 weeks. sheesh

She was looking at the nurse, but she wanted to hold onto Daddy's finger for comfort.

I was paranoid that she might have caught a cold from Howard and me, and I asked the Doctor if she looked sick to him. Of course Avery makes me look bad, smiling and doing a little dance, kicking her feet on the bed, wiggling her arms and batting her eyelashes at the doctor, making him crack up. Doc proclaims that she is super healthy, definitely not sick. Well that's a relief.
