Meat Market Days

It was a great weekend in Southern California! Beautiful warm weather, blue skies - time to break out the onesies and show off those chubby little arms and legs.

On Saturday, we swung by our buddy Jasmine's house to say hello! Jasmine was sporting a cute little hair do and outfit!
A thigh-to-thigh comparison. Its like a meat market up in here.

I wonder if they understand that they are babies. Avery treats Jasmine like she's a teddy bear, grabbing Jasmine's nose, and when she gets excited she flaps her arms and slaps poor Jasmine in the face. But when Jasmine gets excited and swats Avery's face, then Avery starts to cry.....So sensitive lately, sheesh.

Someone is clearly hogging up the limelight right here. Jasmine being a good girl and Avery being a ham as usual.

Jasmine can almost sit! YAY! Avery at 8 months, Jasmine at 6 months. Silly little babies!

On Sunday we also took Avery to Johnny Rockets for dinner (sorry, no pics cuz Mommy forgot to charge the camera battery, doh!), where she sat in her high chair and threw sugar packets and straws on the ground, and watched the waiters and waitresses sing and dance. It was fun! Now I understand why there are some restaurants that are easier for families with small children to go to, rather than others. One one hand, we do consume alot of burgers and pizza now. On the other hand, I don't remember the last time we went out for sushi...Oh well.

Aww, love Avery's CAL onesie. :) Reminds me that I need to get some more Cal gear for Tyler...I checked out Bancroft Clothing online and they sell lots of baby stuff!

Ah yes, eating out. There's like a period of time where it's SO hard to take them out anymore. Now at least I can keep Tyler occupied with watching Elmo on my iPhone. hehe..

I think that the period to still eat out at nicer restaurants is early... like right now for you all. The more mobile and opinionated they get, the harder it is to eat out. Now we have to find family friendly places.

Yeah, we go out a couple times every weekend. We can tell this luxury will end soon because she's getting more and more restless while we're eating.
