Memorial Day Weekend

This weekend Avery was still a bit sick, and I caught her cold too, so we didn't get to go out as much as we wanted to, again. We just lounged around, which was fine by Howard, since the NBA Playoffs are on. Avery goes: Basketball? Again Daddy? Ah well, we still went out for food and such, to get out of the house a bit, and spread some germs all around! She's much better now, just a couple loogies here and there. Poor thing can't blow her nose, so we just listen as the loogie vibrates in her lungs as she breathes, until HWACK! Loogie coughs up and she swallows it back in. As gross as it is, its music to our ears!I'm getting over my first cold. YAY!

We did manage to go check out the little park by the elementary school. Its great! its got a playground for kids, a half-court basketball, and a couple soccer fields/baseball fields. There's a first time for everything. Today, its...going down a slide with Daddy!
She has no idea what's about to happen, but she's still a good sport! Second slide! This is fun! Didn't really get the slide thing yet, she was like, huh? while they slid down. hehe More interested in watching the other kids playing.
Happy Memorial Day! Nice to have a long weekend to spend at home with Avery.
