Mothers Day Weekend!

Happy Mother's Day Everyone!

Avery had a super fun weekend. First on Friday, I came back from work to this:
Aww Thanks Babe!
Hee hee. Babies and Roses! That's what its all about!

On Saturday morning we headed out to Hacienda Heights for Avery's first dentist visit! Before we went, I told avery about the dentist, and how we have to "show our teeth" and say "aaah" and "open your mouth." She seemed to get it.

If Cookie Monster is here, it can't be bad!

Wait, she's gonna do what?

Opening up her mouth when asked, like a pro! No problem!

A balloon makes it all worth it.

Except, as she got in the car, she let go of it and she watched it fly away. She whined, I said uh oh, say bye bye to the balloon sweetie. She actually waved her hand and said "bye bye broon". And then proceeded to sadly say "Brloon? blooon? BOOOOONNNN!! bye bye!" the entire way home.

Later that day, Auntie Saori came to say hi!

Auntie Saori Time is incidentally also referred to Boba Time! When she comes to town, we go get some taiwanese grub at Kampai - some stinky tofu, some basil clam saute, pork intestine and porkblood soup? bring it on baby. And then, we wash it down with boba milk tea. Howard likes that part particularly well.

Auntie Saori joins us for Avery's bath time, and then reads Avery a book. Today is one of her faves - The Giving Tree.

The next day, was Mother's Day! I tried to host or atleast get my mothers together for a Mothers Day brunch perhaps? But no. My mom and Dad were off in Pala for the weekend, and my mom in law was hosting Mah Jiang night at her place. Lol. Whatcha gonna do? All you can do is join, right? haha

So since we found out last time that our friend David is a big Majiang gamer, we invited him and Jennifer and little LeighAnne to come join the game. Off to Grandma's house we go!

I wonder who's grandma this fridge belongs to? hehe

Apparently we are a natural at this game...

Line 'em up, or stack 'em up, its all good up in here!

Show me the money!

Then the toddlers partook in some serious dancing! I sang "i'm a little teapot" and Avery started dancing her little teapot dance, and then LeighAnne instinctively picked it up and started doing the same thing. Soon, both of them were having the best time ever!

Work it!

That's right! uh huh!

Here's a super cute video of the two of them dancing together. Priceless!

LeighAnne, aka Doh Doh, is 10 days older than Avery, super social little kid. Actually with some ice cream, apparently she will totally follow you home. hehee!! I'll have to stock my house with ice cream next time!

MORE!!
There were plenty of kisses to go around...
And hugs!

And then by the end of the night, they were All Done!
