Avery is 4 months old!

Can you believe it? The little bean is 4 months now! Accomplishments this month include sleeping all the way through 12 hours at night (she started doing that at 3 months but then she relapsed back to waking up at night for a bit), mastering tummy time, reaching for things that are right in front of her, napping for an hour at a time (as opposed to, like 20 min increments which she was doing for a while), and as you can see here, stuffing her fist in her mouth.

She keeps wanting to suck on something, but never a pacifier. We've purchased every single brand of pacifier on the market trying to get her to like one, but to no avail. The only time she'll suck on it is when we're in the car, and she's sleepy. The combination of sucking and moving car is the only way to keep a pacifier from flying out of her mouth. The rest of the time, she'll go for her fingers - she hasn't decided which finger she prefers, so she often goes for all of them at once. Doesn't really work to soothe her when she's sleepy and fussy though.
