Lulu is one of those dogs that would qualify to be on an episode of Cesar Milan's Dog Whisperer. She gets possessive, fearful, and has a tendency to show aggression. No groomers will take her cuz she bites. So when we first introduced her to Avery, we were very cautious. Turns out, Lulu and Avery are completely at ease with one another. Avery grabs Lulu's hair, touches her doggie whiskers, grabs Lulu's doggie leash - Lulu is totally fine with it, content with licking Avery till she's covered in doggie slober (mixed in with Avery's faucet-like slober dripping), then sitting next to Avery and keeping her company while she plays in her playpen.
hee hee. She's getting pretty good at sitting up, but when she gets too excited she tips over!
I guess the only thing I'm nervous about is when Avery starts being more aggressive with Lulu, which is inevitable, since Avery makes daily attempts to give us either a black eye or a bloody nose with her headbutts while we burp her. We'll figure it out as we go along.
So far it seems ok!

I think Lulu is grooming Avery and she prob thinks Avery is her baby too! You know mommy dogs lick the babies all the time to clean them up.
that is so cute how Avery tips over at the end! heehee!
mojo is like that with Tyler also - he'll totally let Tyler tackle and hug him! we just keep saying "gentle Tyler... gentle!"
