This is quite possibly the ugliest photo frame ever...
The Artist with the Proud Recepient. Then Daddy requested pancakes for breakfast, so we enjoyed a nice meal outdoors!
Avery says Come! Join us!We've had this patio set for 4 years, when we first moved into our house. I think someone sat in it once at our housewarming party, and never again was it used, collecting dust in the corner of our yard. One day as I was feeding Avery inside, I noticed that she's always staring out the window and seemed to enjoy listening to the birds chirping. So I decided to drag the patio set over to a more useful location in our backyard. And it works out well. Avery loves sitting outside! She listens to the birds, watches the scenery, and enjoys some finger foods while sitting on her booster seat.
This weekend we also celebrated our 4 year anniversary. Time flies!
Sitting on my desk when I walked into the office on Thursday. Yay!With every year there is more to celebrate. This year we celebrate our first anniversary as parents to a beautiful little girl named Avery.
On Saturday night, we dropped Avery off at Grandma/pa Shih's house and went off to watch a movie called The Hangover (I had to find out how it can induce the labors of not one, but TWO pregnant friends. Yes, it was quite a funny movie), and then dinner at Summit House in Fullerton. Cute English cottage garden feel, nice location, perched up on a hilltop overlooking Fullerton and Brea. Food was not bad, but we thought the prime rib was so so. Definitely old school atmosphere. But it was nice to spend some time alone and have ourselves a little date. And afterwards, we hurried back to my parents house to pick up our little monster and go home.
Yup. That's our little monster!

Haha. I like the candid shots of Howard's 'fro! It'll probably be a while before Avery will have enough hair for a bad hair day. :)
My morning fro has been exposed for all to see.
I think we have a picture frame from Tyler to Will on his first Father's Day that may be competition to yours... hehe..
