I'm going to pretend that I did not just wait nearly a month to blog about Avery's 2nd birthday. I'm sorry everyone, and Avery! Too many things going on these days, I can barely keep up!
My little girl. All grown up now. How can it be that she's already 2 years old? Sometimes I see her running around, giving hugs and kisses and ordering us around, and I still can't believe that we made this little human, full of life and personality, dancing on impulse, even if there's no music - she'll bust out in sing song herself! I love seeing the way her eyes light up the room - her little eyeballs dancing a dance while she hops happily around demanding everyone to join her "Do you wanna dance with me?!" with a giant smile on her face. Who can say no?
On her birthday, we gathered all four grandparents plus Agonggong and YiPo (Uncle Charlson and Aunt Jane), I picked up some chinese take out for dinner, Howard got a little cake for her, and Avery, seeing that everyone was there to play with her, was happy as a clam.
Its my birthday you guys! hehe. This was the split second that she kept the birthday hat on in the morning.
She was really excited about her birthday cake!
Someone went picasso on my face
Happy Birthday little girl!
So that Saturday we had her birthday party at Pump It Up near our house. After going to Tyler's 3rd birthday there and loving it, Avery was super excited about having her birthday at the "bouncing house" so she can "jamping! JAMPING!"
BOING!
BOING with Daddy and Agong!
NOT was excited about the slide this time. only went one time. And then she said "slide scary!" :(
Actaully i 'm not sure why this one was scarier than the one at Tyler's bday because she went on that one several times! And more than a few kids this time refused to go after the first time. Aww they're still a little young for pump it up. hehe
Seen here jumping with LeighAnne and Kate in the back!
Avery and Mommy!
I'm especially proud of this picture i caught of Tyler. For every one good pic i get of Tyler, his dad Will gives me like 50 more. Totally worth the exchange hehe
Group picture!!
And then it was lunch time!
Avery sitting with kate having some pizza!
Avery couldn't concentrate on much food though, because she was eyeing the throne that was soon to be hers:
Ahh yes. Her majesty sitting on her throne, wearing her inflatable crown and wand, in all its glory. Look at that smug look on her face.
And then it was time for everyone to sing happy birthday to her!
Pondering her next year - what is in store for me next? A big girl bed? School? A new baby brother or sister?! Oh man its going to be a fun year!
Thank you for two wonderful years, my sweet baby. Mommy and Daddy love you with all of our hearts. You are our world.
